FAQs
How do payments work?
We accept payments via bank transfer or online payment gateways. Usually, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, and the remaining balance can be paid before departure. All details will be included in your booking confirmation.
What if the weather changes or the trip is canceled?
Safety is our top priority. If weather or safety conditions require changes, we’ll offer rescheduling or alternative arrangements. In case of cancellation, our refund and reschedule policy will apply (we’ll make it as flexible as possible).
Is GAPS Tours suitable for families and children?
Yes! Many of our guests are families and couples. We provide comfortable itineraries with options suitable for kids and older travelers — from gentle sailing trips to light adventure tours.

Can I join a group tour instead of a private one?
Yes, we occasionally run open trips / group sailing for those who want to share the experience (and cost). Follow us on Instagram @gapstours for upcoming open trip dates.
When is the best time to visit Labuan Bajo or Sumba?
Labuan Bajo: March – October (dry season, calm seas).
Sumba: May – September (great weather, vibrant landscape). Our team can advise based on your preferred month.
